Visual Desktop from Claus Medvesek updated 16. Feb 19976. Level: suggestion; code wanted; suggestion template; technical sheet
Enables the desktop and makes it visual in the background of a running Media Tool title.
There could be two possibilities for implementing this feature: (1) add this option in the RUNTIME SETTING dialog box or (2) as an additional action with "invisable" as the default after the following events: after display, before display, mouse up, mouse down, mouse enter, mouse, leave, when finished.
Anti-alias Text Stefan Fürst updated 15. Feb 19976. Level: suggestion; PC code wanted; download MAC code; bug report
Makes anti-alias text for rtf files.
An additional checkbox in the PROPERTIES dialog box is needed.
Question:
Can this be done with transparent background, scrolltext and text fields?
Is that also be possible on the Windoze?

6. Level: suggestion; code wanted; suggestion template; technical sheet
The"picklist" object would be a scrolling text window that on mousedown highlights the line and returns the text selected. If multiple selections are allowed, Command+shift would select multiple?
Small Database from Richard Donagrandi updated 25. Feb 19976. Level: suggestion; code wanted; suggestion template; technical sheet
LinA probably has some simple C code for reading DBF files that would be easy to change for cross-platform reading. It would need some additional routines written for indexing and searching. Who can help?
Richard Donagrandi
And I have code (though not as efficient as it could be) that reads comma-separated rtf files in as tables/collections. Programmers can then do searches via the normal comparisons available in AMTPE. --Entirely written in AMTPE. No cross-platform C code necessary. --I haven't written it as a Media Tool engine. I'm not that advanced an AMTPE programmer.
