Tutorial 2: Synchronization

Synchronization tutorial will demonstrate you the different steps in modifying a Photoshop document and how ImageLayer synchronizes these changes. The tutorial contains all the necessary photoshop documents and also the results of each step.

Tutorial 3: Advanced Button
|
|
The Advanced button Tutorial will help you through the creation of an advanced button. It starts with a simple button and making more and more professional by adding extra layers for Pressed, Disabled and Rollover states. Then it will demonstrate on how to create a Toggle Button (ex Check box). And finally it will demonstrate the process of making a custom mouse region for your button.

Sample 1: MP3 Player
|
|
This sample shows the potential of Imagelayer in a complete way. It demonstrate Advanced Buttons (standard and Toggle). Beside ImageLayer features it also demonstrates how you can use a Data (table) element to switch between different skins and no iShell modifications are necessary, thanks to Imagelayer.

Sample 2: Language Sample
|
|
This sample demonstrates the buttons behavior of ImageLayer. It demonstrates the different ways regions can be created for a button. Also shows how to display multiple Flipbook cells, even with an Advanced Button. There are 2 versions of the language sample, the only difference is the .mvo which again demonstrates the dynamic update possibilities of ImageLayer.

This sample shows the potential of Imagelayer in a color alpha channeled bitmap. ImageLayer preserves the Alpha Channel in a Bitmap when it fills a color. There is also a nice RGB color picker included.

Sample 4: Color Map Sample

This sample shows the potential of Imagelayer in a color alpha channeled bitmap. ImageLayer preserves the Alpha Channel in a Bitmap when it fills a color. It demonstrates that ImageLayer is better in those color by number games then regular iShell because the edges are nicely alpha channeled for all the different regions. There is also a nice RGB color picker included.

Sample 5: Opacity Animation
|
|
This sample demonstrates the capability of animating the opacity of a layer but also of cells in flipbooks. ImageLayer has very advanced flipbook control where you specify for each cell if it is opacity is effected by the 'global' flipbook opacity value.
