Split up the commands in several. popup menus, also try to use hierachical popupmenus. Some commands could be removed. Stop All. If you take [Suggestion 92] and you add an attribute "All" CheckBox to the stop command. You don't need it, this could also be used for other commands, hide all, show all, start all. |

Description: |
When you want to set attributes of objects, commands you have to double click... It should be easier when you could have a floating palette just like in all latest applications (FreeHand, PhotoShop, PageMill, Home Page) to set these attributes. Also above you have tabs, so some not so common options could be hidden. This also allows to have more options, for example what some AMT PE users request is allowing to change the base class of that object or behaviour directly in AMT. So when they export and add their sources it all work without many changes... Also when you select several objects only the attributes that they have in common are allowed to change |

A lot of users can't find (know) the control -key trick to increase the memory of the AMT appliation. Correct this: 1. Show a text in the startup dialog that pressing control.... 2. Add this option also in the preferences dialog. |

As all the Apple products, AMT hs a superb documentation, for one exception... the AMT/PE (windows part). I belive that most mac developers are not pc experts, nor must know what version of C to buy , how to install, operate, compile an app, etc... I think that PE is excellent but need a good documentation effort to allow more users to get into it. |

I wish I could search for words in a RTF Text. But for the moment, there is no way to get the text of a text handler object to analyse it, all you can only reach a handle adress. It could be usefull and could be a first step to the AMTPE database... |

One big argument for director is, that the framework is able to handle sprites over running QT movies. I would like to see flipbooks over running movies under AMT. We could then think of the subject in a dynamic environment. Today only a movement in a static environment can be done properly in AMT without lots of programming and/or media management. |
